Luiza Gega is the gold medalist at the Oran 2022 Mediterranean Games.
The athlete won the 3000-meter steeplechase, dominating every meter of the race.
Gega stopped the clock in 9.14.29, thus breaking the national record of 9:15.48, which was set by herself on June 6 in the Netherlands.
According to the Albanian Olympic Committee, Albania now has two gold medals and one bronze.
