Johnny Depp's lawyer, Camille Vasquez, criticized the rumors of a romance with Johnny Depp, calling them "unethical" and "sexist".
Camille said she was disappointed that people thought her interactions with Depp were "inappropriate or unprofessional".
"I take great care of my clients and we are definitely closer. "But when I say that, I mean the whole team, and it certainly includes Johnny," she told People, adding that the Pirates of the Caribbean star has been her friend and client for four and a half years.
"It's also an unethical accusation that is being made. "She is sexist," she said. "It's unfortunate and it's disappointing."
Camille added that he is a person who expresses support through touch. "What do you mean?" I hug everyone. And I'm not ashamed of that. This man was fighting for his life and I was heartbroken when I saw him day after day that he had to sit there and hear the most horrible accusations being made against him.
"And if I could give him some comfort, then of course I would, regardless of whether I held his hand or let him know we were there and we would fight for him because he deserved it. ”
The lawyer said she is "very happy" in her relationship with boyfriend Edward Owen. Camille admitted that the great attention she received after the trial was "a bit tedious".
"But if I can be an inspiration to young women who want to study law school, study and work hard, then it's worth it," she told Good Morning America.
