Messages are the most used type of communication in an iPhone-filled world, so it is very important to know everything about them. You know what an embarrassing situation you can get into if you make a mistake like this: the right message to the wrong person, or when you vent all your anger and then regret it in 5 seconds.
On June 6, the giant company introduced new changes related to iMessages. When your phone is updated to iOS 16, which comes out this fall, you will be able to edit or unsend messages that you have sent, but something changed your mind and you no longer want to.
There will also be a gift option for those who when they receive a message, turn the phone upside down and forget to answer for the next 6 or 8 weeks. An automatic note will remind them of the answer!
How can you edit messages?
All you have to do is keep the sent message pressed, just like you do when you want to send an emoji. It will show you the new options, to change something in the message or not to send it at all.
If you choose the second option, you are probably wondering if the other person realizes that he received a message and was suddenly deleted ?!
The person realizes that the text has been changed or unsended, but on the other hand you should know that you only have 15 minutes after sending the initial message to make the necessary changes. Thus, save all and no one sees what you had written before.
