"Her friendship with him is not at its best, but they are trying for the sake of the children," reports the Spanish newspaper El Peridico.
Shakira appeared and smiled, while Pique looked a little further away. The images showed that, despite being physically in the same place, they were each on their own and avoided contact, at least publicly.
At the weekend, Shakira and Piqué confirmed the split after 11 years together. "We regret to confirm that we are parting," the couple said in a joint statement Saturday.
