Vasquez serves as one of Johnny's lawyers in his fight against Amber Heard, whom he accuses of defamation in a 2018 article written for the Washington Post.
In the article, Heard described himself as a "public figure representing domestic abuse." "He's half Johnny. He's not all Johnny," Heard replied. "The other half of him is wonderful, beautiful and belongs to the man I loved."
Further, the lawyer presented numerous photos of Heard, taken days after the alleged incidents, with no visible signs of injury. Heard said she used make-up to cover the scars.
