Singer Elsa Lila has been released and no charges are brought against her, according to lawyer Saimir Visha, who is also her uncle.
"I just came back from Italy and had lunch with him. Elsa has been free and she is free and all charges have been dropped, there is no charge. "[Everything that happened was] a misunderstanding," Visha said in an interview on the Task Force show with Sonila Meçon on Syri TV.
"Her independence has been from the first moments and today there is no accusation against her. "I am ashamed that our collaborators, because I have a good relationship with journalists, have vomited bitterness for Elsa," he added.
Elsa Lila was arrested in mid-March on suspicion of participating in a group of Italians and Albanians involved in drug trafficking.
