Secret narcissism is a subtype of narcissistic personality disorder. These individuals tend to be passive-aggressive but appear as helpless and lonely.
One of the greatest powers of manipulation lies in the narcissists' ability to play the victim - they cry quickly, invent a crisis or invent illness to make others feel bad for them and use their weaknesses to manipulate.
