Jack Sweeney, the 19-year-old who became famous for tracking down the whereabouts of Elon Musk's private jet, has a new target: Russian oligarchs.
The IT student at the University of Florida has created a new Twitter account where he follows the planes of Russian billionaires as they face increasing international pressure on Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
The Twitter account, named Russian Oligarch Jets, shows the schedules and maps of when and where the private jets of some of Russia's top billionaires take off and land. The tracking began on Sunday after the European Union and the United States announced new sanctions on Russian President Vladimir Putin's inner circle and warned they would freeze their assets, including planes, yachts and luxury homes.

Despite tough international sanctions, Russian tycoons still seem to be moving - or at least their planes are moving, as data does not reveal who is on board the flights.
To track them down, Sweeney used a list of private jets and helicopters being tracked by a blog called Radar Spots.
The 19-year-old became famous shortly after creating a "bot" on Twitter that tracked the location of Musk's private jet and posted real-time location updates. A "bot" is an autonomous program on the Internet or other network that can interact with systems or users.
Elon Musk tried to get him to stop tracking him down, but things did not go as predicted for both parties.
