During today's live communication, Foreign Minister Olta Xhaka said there are about 60 Albanians living in Ukraine for a long time.
According to official data, 5-6 Albanians have so far been offered assistance for border crossings
While a small number of 5-6 people have been offered aid for border crossings during their departure from Ukraine.
"It is about 60 Albanians who have been integrated into Ukraine for years and possibly decades. We only have information for those who have contacted us to help them cross the border route and there are very few, five or six people." - The minister said.
Among other things, during the press conference, Prime Minister Rama answered one of the questions he has been asked most often these days: Can Albania be affected by a 3rd World War?
He responded by saying that something like this is neither predicted nor avoided.
"We are nato country and today it has been repeated by all that Nato countries, every Nato country is in another defence regime. There are some people who are concerned that this war could come to Albania and we don't have planes we don't have missiles etc. Albania is not in Nato a member state to have missiles is in Nato a member state that has a set of priorities of its own coordinated with the alliance.
There is today the investment being made for a Nato air base in the country, Nato aircraft will be there. If the 3rd War breaks out, it's something we can't predict, nor can we avoid it if others start it. We are not under these conditions to be aware that the war is real and there is real impact in the economy without question. As well as how it is to be seen in the path of development of events. Our position is solid, comfortable, in the words that there is no convenience under these conditions," the prime minister concluded.
