Russia is planning "the biggest war in Europe since 1945," says Boris Johnson

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said evidence suggests Russia is planning "the biggest war in Europe since 1945" in an interview with the BBC from the Munich Security Conference.
The prime minister said US President Joe Biden had told Western leaders that US intelligence had suggested that Russian forces intended to launch an offensive that would encircle the Ukrainian capital, Kiev. According to Johnson, Russian troops were not only planning to enter Ukraine from the east, via the Donbas, but from Belarus and the area around Kiev.
"I'm afraid to say that the plan we are seeing is for something that could really be the biggest war in Europe since 1945 only in terms of large scale," he said.

Udhëheqësit afrikanë po i bëjnë presion BE-së për t'i ndihmuar në luftën kundër Covid-19

The summit between the European Union and the African Union after two days of intensive discussions tried to strengthen the partnership between the two organizations in several areas. But the main differences remain when it comes to tackling one of the most pressing issues in the world. With only 11% of its population fully vaccinated against Covid-19, Africa has lagged behind in the fight against the pandemic.
African leaders have accused Europeans of stockpiling vaccine doses. "We are talking about the lives of millions, hundreds of millions of people, rather than the benefit of some companies. "It is not acceptable for Africa to be constantly at the bottom of the list when it comes to access to medicine," he said at the summit.
