This is because "opposites are withdrawn". The former teaches the latter the little things related to the way of organizing, while the latter the child helps to calm the atmosphere and reminds the partner not to take things so seriously. The best possible combination is the woman as the older child and the younger husband, as their needs are in harmony with each other. The first child with another first child would "collide" because they are both perfectionists and want to do things their own way.

Middle children do not communicate very well and this quality of theirs deteriorates twice as much if they were to bond with another middle child. They do not confront each other to discuss feelings because they think the tension is not worth it and thus accumulate their feelings. Middle-aged children are capable of building a long marriage because they grow up learning how to compromise and negotiate with their siblings. The best combination of middle children is with young children, as the latter are more sociable and communicative. Middle children do not feel threatened by younger siblings, so communication in the couple of this combination would be better.
