3 months after the death of Hueyda El Saied, her husband Thierry Grosjean talked about life without him during an interview this morning on "Wake Up". Asked about her decision to keep the disease a secret, he replied:
"There is a reason and the main reason was her emotional state. She did not want people to feel sorry for her. It was very important to stay focused on the changes she was going through and the recovery process. She had to be focused on "The fight against this disease. That was why she kept it a secret only from us and her close family circle."
Hueyda passed away as a result of breast cancer at an advanced stage, but during the 18 months of fighting, Thierry reveals that she became a source of pride for all those around her.
"It was not easy at all, but at first I was there when I got the announcement. He was a friend to us. A few hours after he received the announcement he said 'ok, this is terrible news, but I seem to be facing'. He told me he would fight "For myself, for Gabriel and for me. He found the strength and concentration that after a few minutes and surprised everyone with the courage and strength he showed. The doctors, the nurses and all of us were very proud of the whole journey."

El Saied's husband said the decision for Hueyda to rest in Luxembourg was his.
"Ishte vendimi im që ajo të prehej këtu, pas miratimit të familjes së saj sigurisht. Ishte vendimi dhe përgjegjësia ime. Siç e kam thënë edhe më herët, dua ta mbaj Hueyda-n pranë vetes dhe Gabrielit, është shumë e rëndësishme ta kemi pranë. Unë e vizitoj çdo ditë."
Përsa i përket jetës së re me Gabriel, Thierry tha se është një aventurë shumë e bukur dhe një përgjegjësi që i jep shumë kënaqësi.

It was hard, but Gabriel is strong, compared to the situation where he is.We talk every day about Hueyda.I have billions of things I would like to do with him.I have no mortgage as I think that even this period, these 18 months were beautiful for our love. "We fell in love even more, it was a tragedy because it is not now, but I can not explain to you how I experienced it. I have no hostages, it is in my and Gabriel's heart every second," he concluded.
Hueyda El Saied passed away at the age of 46 on November 23rd.
