Zendaya, Willow Smith and Kiernan Shipka performed David Bowie's hit "Changes" in honor of the day that would mark his 75th birthday, but fans have considered him "embarrassing".
In a clip shared from W magazine's Instagram account on Saturday, the girls are seen reading excerpts from the 1972 hit, but people seem to have regarded it as disrespectful to the music icon.

"Why are you reading the iconic verses?" writes many people surprised by the fact that they do not know them by heart like any Bowie fan. "I hate the way they read it," wrote another, with some commentators describing the clip as "painful to look at," "crazy," and "embarrassing."
Bowie passed away in 2016 after a battle with cancer.
