"Spider-Man: No Way Home" star Tom Holland put in the spotlight a study on men, sex, relationships and height.
The actor liked a LADbible post featuring a photo of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito in the movie "Twins" which reads: "According to science, short men have more sex."
Tom is in a relationship with Zendaya. For information, Tom is 173 cm tall, while Zendaya almost 178 cm.
What does the study say? The study of 531 heterosexual men showed that those under 175 cm tall had a higher "coital frequency". "Coital frequency" refers to sexual relations between couples in relation to the duration of the relationship, the number of children, fertility, health, etc.
The study from New York University found that not only are short men having more sex, but they are also 32% less likely to divorce their partners.
Research found that they do more housework than taller men and are more likely to earn more money.
Researchers are not entirely sure why this happens, but they think taller men may be more confident about their appearance and therefore do not do more housework and other chores. So basically, short men can feel like they have something to try, which means they work harder both in the office and at home.
In fact, there is a theory behind this. Napoleon complex , or short man syndrome, which suggests that shorter men work harder to "assert their manhood" by various means.
