A scene from Home Alone was used to show simply how vaccines work.
The video, published by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health - which is part of Johns Hopkins University, one of the most prestigious academic institutions in the world - shows the power of vaccines and booster doses.
The video begins with Kevin McCallister in the "role" of the vaccine, which hits and knocks down Marv, who has been labeled as the Delta variant. Harry, marked as Omicron, avoids the vaccine, but not the second stroke (boosting dose).
"Remember: Getting vaccinated and boosting doses is the best way to protect against serious illness from Covid-19," writes Johns Hopkins.

"There is now solid evidence that Omicron is spreading significantly faster than the Delta variant," WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told Reuters on Monday. "And people vaccinated or cured of Covid-19 are more likely to become infected or re-infected."
Experts recommend that unvaccinated people get the vaccine, while those who are fully vaccinated should consider boosting the dose to stay protected as well.
