The Green Pass will "expire" 9 months after the second dose in the territory of the European Union, which means that after this time they will no longer be valid. vaccine, otherwise known as booster dose.This decision is expected to take effect on 1 February in 27 European countries, according to the European Commission.
The purpose of this initiative is to encourage citizens to take the third dose, to prevent and increase protection against the new variant, Omicron. Greece, on the other hand, has proposed an even more restrictive measure than that by recommending reducing the validity of the valid certificate to 3 months.
