To make the next waxing less embarrassing, keep the following tips in mind:
Do not use razors
3 weeks before waxing, do not use razors, as the hair becomes resistant to wax.
Do not drink coffee
The stimulants found in coffee make your skin more sensitive, thus causing more pain.
Clean up first
Although the purpose of waxing is to remove the hairs, during the process the removal of pieces of skin also occurs. Use skin solution so that your skin is not dry, as dead skin remains on the wax and makes the hairs not hold well.
Do not go immediately after the cycle
The pain threshold is higher after your menstrual cycle has passed, so schedule an appointment a few days after you have passed.
Take aspirin
45 minutes before the meeting, drink 2 aspirins with a glass of water. You will be ready for waxing, at the right time.
Take a bath in warm water If you have time, take a bath 20 minutes before waxing. Warm water dilates pores and softens hair.
Breathe
This is the hardest thing to do. Your natural reaction is to hold your breath and strain, as the body knows it will feel pain. Try to breathe regularly and try to exhale when the wax string is withdrawn.
Make sure the hairs are the right length
Too short and the wax will not pull, too long and need to be cut, before waxing. When waxing, make sure the hairs are about 6 mm long.
Wear loose clothing afterwards
One or two days after waxing, wear cotton underwear and loose pants or skirts, so that the area is airy and not irritated by the clothing material.
Come back and cough
Turn your head sideways and cough while the wax strip is ready to be pulled. This helps, as it diverts attention away from the painful process.
