During today's speech in the Assembly, the Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu stated that by mid-2022, our country will meet the WHO target: 70% of the population will be vaccinated.
Manastirliu stated that very soon, in Albania, the model of European countries will be followed, where in order to enter the premises or service structures, citizens will have to show the vaccination certificate, otherwise known as "Greenpass"
"The government has moved all the stones to fulfill its responsibility, to provide the necessary amount of vaccines, so that every citizen can be vaccinated. And in this regard, we have succeeded. This is a fact! Achieving the target of coverage "Vaccines will definitely depend on the acceptability, but also on the mechanisms suggested by the experts, which we are determined to implement", said the Minister of Health. "
Meanwhile, regarding the accusations and claims of the doctor Tritan Shehu according to which the vaccines are uncertified, Manastirliu categorically denied them, reaffirming the full safety of the anti-Covid vaccines.
"I feel very sorry that from your mouth as an excellent doctor come the word uncertified and unsafe vaccines. Each vaccine based on the production stages also receives the approval of important organizations. Vaccination is a challenging process and we are in a race against time, and "Unfortunately, social networks have contributed to the spread of false information."
