During the meeting of the Committee of Experts held today to review the situation of Covid-19 in the country, they also talked about the management of the third dose of vaccines, vaccination age groups and measures against the virus.
The chairwoman of the committee, Mira Rakacolli said that people over 60 years old can receive the third dose of the vaccine, 6 months after the second dose, starting from November 1.
Meanwhile, it was announced that young people can now be vaccinated not from the age of 18 onwards, but from the age of 16.
Other measures remain as they are. It was noted that "the priority remains to cover the population with the first and second dose of the vaccine, for those who have not been vaccinated."
