Schools warn parents not to let children watch 'Squid Game'

Netflix's most popular series at the moment, " Squid Game ", is not a children's series, although its plot includes a deadly children's game tour. Schools around the world are warning parents to be careful because children are imitating the show.

A school in Belgium reported that children are imitating the show and beating children who miss games. Students at the Beguinage Hainaut school in the municipality of Erquelinnes played the game "Red Light, Green Light", known in Belgium as 1, 2, 3 Piano.

"We [must] remain vigilant in order for this unhealthy and dangerous game to stop," a school representative said on his Facebook page this week, reports Brussels Time. The post noted that children can play the game, but can not physically harm those who lose.

In the series, Red Light, Green Light (Red Light, Green Light) is the first game the contestants play. They hope to make money, but soon discover that if they move after a giant robot doll cries out, "Red Light!" they are shot to death. Those who successfully cross the finish line are allowed to continue in the tournament.
