What percentage of Albanian citizens have been vaccinated with both doses

In an update on mass vaccination, the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare announced that as of two days ago, 760,960 citizens had received both doses of the anti-Covid vaccine.

According to the ministry, almost 10 thousand vaccinations are performed every day. Referring to the data on the number of people vaccinated with two doses in relation to the total population (slightly more than 2.8 million inhabitants), in Albania about 27% have been vaccinated with both doses.

In a report of OurWordData.org, it is specifically written that in Albania, 26.25% have taken both doses, while 6.11% only one dose.

In terms of countries in the region, Serbia ranks first in the Western Balkans, where a total of 44.37% of the population has been vaccinated (as of September 25), of which 42.34% have received both doses.

Portugal is the leading country in terms of vaccination with both doses (84.60%), while the UAE ranks first in terms of total number of vaccinations (92%).

The Ministry of Health announces that 2,045,310 anti-Covid vaccines have arrived in our country and the mass vaccination is still going on.
