There is something that closely associates winter with fragrances and makes us not leave the house without throwing away our favorite perfume. What do we want after that? To last us indefinitely and let everyone feel how adorable our scent is.
Why hasn’t something like this happened so far, even though you have invested in a good perfume?
You do not necessarily have to blame the perfume because if you want it to last there are right and wrong ways to do it. Keep in mind that perfumes that have wood in their composition tend to last longer than those based on grapes, flowers or green scents.
The first mistake is: You are not applying it in the right places!
The perfume is sprayed on the parts that receive the most heat, such as the pulse, the sides of the neck, the wrists and the back of the knees.
Mistake # 2: You are not hydrated enough.
There is a connection between skin regimen and perfume prolongation because fragrances do not fix well if placed on dry skin.
Mistake number three: You did not leave it in a convenient place
Did you know that perfumes also have an expiration date? If they change color, the texture has most likely lost its power. To keep them as long as possible place them in a dark place, with normal temperature, but away from air conditioners or scary heat.
What can you do to make the scent feel all day long?
Take Vaseline and massage a small amount of it on your pulse points on your hands, neck, or even in the places you prefer to apply perfume. Then apply the perfume on the places where you put the Vaseline.
Why is it a brilliant idea?
Just like in cosmetics, perfumes need a primer (base) to help the product stay on the skin as long as possible. Vaseline has exactly this function: it is very rich and moisturizing, a combination that manages to keep the scent of your perfume in the place where you apply it.
