The finale of the series involves a clash between the Spanish armed forces and the robbers of the Bank of Spain. The finale of the first part will be remembered by fans for one main reason: the shocking death of Tokyo (Úrsula Corberó), who has undoubtedly been one of the main characters of the cast of the series.
What happened? Tokyo, Denver and Manila are found trapped in the kitchen of the Bank of Spain by military Sagasta and his team. Tokyo hears the noise coming from the pantry and goes with Denver to investigate. She is alarmed when she sees Sagasta's squad penetrating through the wall.
Stockholm informs Denver that the only way out of the kitchen is through an axis. Tokyo tells Denver and Manila to continue without him. Rio creates a hole in the side of the place where Tokyo is being defended. The two cry and grab their hands through the gap between the floors, but the hole is too small for Tokyo to escape.
The military squad detonates the explosives on the wall of the cellar and attacks the kitchen. She bids farewell to Rios and tells the Professor over the radio that it is time for her to be his guardian angel.
Tokyo gets lots of bullets from Sagasta squad. But when they go to see him, they notice that he has stripped the grenades he holds in his chest. They explode killing Tokyo and potentially the entire military squad.
Who else might have died?
Gandia: It would be extremely unfortunate if Gandia survived the grenade explosion. His character does not need to be developed anymore - he reached the peak when he killed Nairobi.
Po Arturo? Arturo is shot from Stockholm. At first he is thought to be dead, but he still has a pulse. His fate has not been confirmed, but fans are certain he is not dead.
At the moment, it is unclear who will replace Tokyo in the role of narrator of the series. The second part of the final season will be published on December 3rd.
