Two years ago, a heating product, IQOS, was introduced for the first time in Albania. This new product category aims to avoid exposure to thousands of chemicals released by cigarette combustion, through heating technology, which does not burn and does not emit smoke.
For the first time after two years this month a new brand for heating products was introduced in the Albanian market. Lil Solid 2.0, supported by IQOS, although very small in size and very light in weight - only 99 grams - performs all the functions of a heating product.
Unlike IQOS, lil Solid heats the tobacco thread through a needle, which is stuck in the middle of the tobacco thread. However, the technology remains the same: heating, not combustion. This means that the tobacco fiber heats up to 350 degrees, without reaching the temperature that burns the tobacco, thus avoiding thousands of harmful chemicals that are released with the smoke.
Also in terms of battery, regardless of size lil Solid is quite solid: 25 uses with one charge and 3 consecutive uses. Each use lasts up to 5 minutes. Lil Solid is practical even in use, as it is enough to push the lid cover and insert the tobacco thread with heat inside, to use it.
Lil Solid 2.0 can also be considered as the "little brother" of IQOS or as a more economical variant of the heating product. It was IQOS that introduced lil Solid in European markets, bringing it to Albania in August.
