
According to Euronews, there are currently 13 active fires in our country. Civil emergencies show that many of them do not pose a risk to people's lives or homes.
- There are still fires in Karaburun, but civil emergencies indicate that there is no danger to homes.
- In Gjirokastra, the fire continues in the hearths in the Lunxhëria valley, but again without danger for the apartments. In the village of "Arshi Lengo", the intervention continues from the air by helicopter.
- The presence of fires is also in the village of Cukal, in Shkodra, also without danger. Meanwhile, fires in Fushë-Arrëz risk spreading to residential areas.
- There are other fires, but without danger to the lives of people and homes in the municipality of Tepelena, the forest of the village Shetaj, the village of Manskuri in Durres, the village of Lukan in Dibra, the municipality of Mallakastra and the village of Shelcan in Elbasan.
All these fires are under the care of the Armed Forces and the Fire Service. The highest level of risk is in some regions of Vlora and Gjirokastra.
Meanwhile, yesterday, on August 4, the first victim was recorded as a result of fires in Kosovo.
