Four people have died in southern Turkey as massive wildfires engulfed forests in the coastal tourist area for a third day.
Firefighters are working to put out the blaze in six Mediterranean provinces in Turkey and the southern Aegean region, said Agriculture and Forestry Minister Bekir Pakdemirli.

Authorities say most of the fires have been brought under control and that the situation with active fires is improving. The worst fires hit the Manavgat and Akseki regions in Antalya, where an 82-year-old man and a married couple died. Meanwhile, a 25-year-old volunteer also passed away.

The Turkish government's Disaster and Emergency Management (AFAD) presidency said at least 112 people were "affected" by the fires, including 58 who were hospitalized, mainly due to smoke inhalation and burns.
More than 4,000 firefighters, assisted by helicopters and planes, are trying to contain the fires.
Fahrettin Altun, director of Turkish presidential communications, said "comprehensive investigations" had been launched into the cause of the fires.
