1. See situations objectively
There's no good or bad, there's only perception. The way we perceive a situation has the power to help or harm us. Often, we react emotionally, casting negative judgments on a situation, when the key to overcoming the situation is the first of things objectively.
You may have the most wonderful plan possible, but if you don't see the situation clearly, nothing matters.
2. Give up the right
Everyone deserves to be happy, but we don't deserve a life without obstacles. When you think you deserve everything you want, facing the difficulties of life becomes difficult.
Mentally strong people know that their plans, even life itself, can come off the rails at any moment. They don't waste energy, feeling forgotten by fate, when things don't go the way they want.
3. Being stable
Being mentally strong doesn't mean always being happy, it's about being stable constantly. Emotional stability and the ability to stay calm is a valuable thing when you have to face challenges. Fortunately, emotional stability comes with age.
4. Don't expect to be happy all the time
We appreciate so much optimism and happiness, which are abstract notions, that we are caught by surprise when we have to face their opposites.
5. They're realistic optimists
Mentally strong people have a habit of always rising up, even after they fall. Instead of getting upset, they're looking for a creative solution. They are realistic optimistic people, as they hope as optimists, but have the clarity of the pessimists. This gives them motivation and the ability to think critically.
6. Live in the present
Being present helps you see things as they really are. They may or may not exercise a form of meditation, which helps them focus only on one thing, without bringing other luggage to that situation, considering only what is really worth.
7. Insist on achieving their goals
Persistence (more than ingenuity, appearance and physical health) are valid for the student's academic success.
8. They know when it's time to give up
A mentally strong person says: I tried everything, now it's time to give up. It is important to learn that you can only control your actions, not the results of those actions.
9. They love the life they make
You shouldn't just tolerate things you can't control, as they can be the best things that can ever happen to you.
Mentally strong people are grateful for the obstacles, as they are life itself.
