1. Use of aloe vera
Although aloe vera can help reduce redness, you need to be careful with the type of aloe vera you put on your skin. Dermatologists suggest hydrating the skin using original aloe and not combined with any other product.
2. Do not wear tight clothing
When you are red from head to toe, the last thing you need to do is wear tight clothes. Wearing loose clothing allows the skin to breathe freely. Cotton material is recommended.
3. Coffee consumption
Rash often causes headaches and if you think that with a cup of coffee you will rest, you think wrong. You are making it worse. You will need to go to the toilet more often and consequently you will become dehydrated.
4. Do not cover it with make up
There is no solution and even worse, you are not letting the skin breathe! Avoid cosmetic products as much as possible and refresh the reddened area.
5. Scrub-i
Although a sunburned skin is not pleasant, do not try to remove it through the scrub. You can damage it by irritating it more. Instead, let it heal naturally and it usually takes up to 10 days.
6. Use of moisturizer with SPF
You may be thinking that an SPF moisturizer is good for the skin, but it is not the best way to protect yourself from burns. What you need to do is apply the protective cream before the skin is burnt.
