The issue of Britney Spears custody is expected to take another turn, as for the first time, the singer was allowed to hire a lawyer and not be represented by lawyers appointed by the court. In another shocking confession made at the last court hearing in Los Angeles, she prayed for her father to be removed from custody and charged him by seeking an arrest warrant against him as well.
"I am here to get rid of my father and accuse him of abusing custody. "I was always extremely scared of my father." - said Britney.
Speaking by phone in a room packed with dozens of reporters and fans, Spears cited a series of other shocking complaints, claiming she was not given hair vitamins and coffee.
"Madam, it is not abuse, it is filthy cruelty. Excuse me for the dictionary, but that's the truth. They always made me feel like I was crazy, that I am not. I was forced to take medication against my will. "I think they were trying to kill me." She added.
Britney demanded that her father be removed from custody and stressed that she was willing to consult with anyone to assess whether she should stay under someone’s supervision or not.
Britney will be represented by attorney Mathew S Rosengart, a lawyer well known and appreciated by people in Hollywood. For the first time, she used the hashtag #FreeBritney on Instagram, a move launched by fans and human rights organizations demanding the abolition of custody.
