Representatives of private enterprises, under the grouping Albanian Tourist Union, through an official letter addressed to the Ministry of Health and the Technical Committee of Experts, request the lifting of restrictive measures, as according to them it is harming tourism.
The Albanian Tourist Union writes that the measures are hindering the progress of the summer season and point out the dissatisfaction of tourists. The official letter requests that the curfew be lifted and that music be allowed until early midnight as the current schedule does not meet the demands of tourists.
"Due to the lack of music after 22:00 we have received many complaints from tourists, who are dissatisfied because they did not come to lock themselves in the room, but to rest and have fun. In order for tourists to enjoy the holidays, we suggest that this schedule be extended until 24:00 so as not to cause them boredom, as 22:00 is not enough. "
The letter, dated June 18, states that easing the measures will help the economy and businesses of the tourism industry.
