It seems that the organizers of the European Championship are facing a not very satisfactory situation with some of the main sponsors. After Cristiano Ronaldo , France midfielder Paul Pogba made a similar move.
Pogba was named "Man of the Match" after France's 1-0 win over Germany. When he sat down to communicate with the media after the match, the footballer removed a bottle of Heineken from the table.

Pogba is a practitioner of the Muslim religion and fans point out that organizers have shown disrespect by placing a beer bottle in front of him. "Putting an alcoholic drink in front of a Muslim is disrespectful. "You can not blame Pogba," someone wrote on Twitter.
"It is understandable that as a Muslim, Pogba would not want to be seen promoting beer," he wrote. Other people point out that in fact, beer is not alcohol-containing, although "its action is quite understandable."
Heineken, one of the official sponsors of the European Championship, has not commented.
