A refreshing recipe is always a good idea! Especially when it is so simple and you can do it quite easily at home. Kiwi is a fruit full of nutrients, a good source of fiber, full of antioxidants and vitamin C. Below you will discover how simple it is to make a sorbet yourself at home!
Ingredients for 6 servings are:
- 5 kiwis cut into cubes
- 1/4 cup honey (raw) - You can add less honey if you do not want to make it sweet.
- 1 tablespoon squeezed lime juice (green lemon)
- 1 tablespoon thin lime skin
- 4-5 tablespoons of coconut milk or unsweetened coconut water
Preparation:
1. Place the cut kiwi in a large pan or in 2 small ones, with kitchen paper down. Make sure all the kiwis are in one layer and not one on top of the other.
2. Leave in the freezer for at least 2 hours overnight.
3. Then place the minced kiwi in a food blender. Add the other ingredients. Start with a little coconut milk and add slowly as you see fit, for the sorbet to get a smooth consistency.
4. "Blend" until a uniform smooth mass is created.
5. If you like it you can serve it or consume it immediately. Instead, place in a clean container and leave in the freezer for 2-3 hours.
6. You can keep it in the freezer / consume for up to 2 weeks.
