Numerous websites and applications around the world were blocked today (Tuesday, June 8) after Fastly, a large content distribution network, reported a problem.
Fastly supports news sites and apps like CNN, Guardian, New York Times and many others. It also provides content distribution for Twitch, Pinterest, HBO Max, Hulu, Reddit, Spotify and other services.
The platform and other major Internet sites, including Amazon, Target, and the UK government website, were also down.
"We are continuing to investigate this matter," the company said.
