Angelina Jolie is unhappy with the court decision to give Brad Pitt joint custody of their children, reveals a person exclusively for Us Weekly. The 45-year-old is "disappointed" after Judge John Ouderkirk ruled in favor of her ex-husband earlier this month.
"Angelina's testimony was unreliable," the source added. "The decision was based on extensive evidence from people who spent time with children and from highly respected professionals."
The former couple, who got engaged in 2012 and got married two years later, have been "fighting" in court since their separation in September 2016. They have six children: Maddox, 19, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 12.
On May 13, the judge issued an interim ruling granting the couple joint custody of the children, with the exception of Maddox, who is no longer a minor. Pitt was "pleased" with the decision, says an insider, but Jolie is already planning her next move.
"She will never forgive him and will use everything she has to appeal the deal."
The actress has previously tried to remove the judge from the case and in May, claimed he had refused to let her children testify.
"Judge Ouderkirk denied Ms. Jolie a fair trial, improperly excluding her evidence regarding the health, safety and welfare of the children, critical evidence her case," the actress's team claimed in court documents submitted on May 24
In March, a source said Maddox had testified against his father. He does not use "Pitt" as his surname in documents that are not legal and instead uses Jolie, according to sources.
