The stable situation of Covid-19 in the country, makes people wonder every day more and more what will happen with the measures in force. Will they be relieved and if so, when will this happen?
The Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu during a recent statement while announcing the closure of the Covid-19 wards in the regional hospital of Elbasan, added that during the next two days the decision to facilitate the measures will be communicated.
"The Technical Committee of Experts is dynamically assessing the situation. We believe that within the next two days we will have a meeting of the Technical Committee of Experts, who are reviewing the measures. A revaluation in the context of relief is being considered, but it will always be a controlled, gradual reopening. So we will move with a gradualness in terms of easing the measures that we currently have set. "
Given the number of cases and fatalities, the minister calls the epidemiological situation "very controlled", therefore according to her it is the right moment to review the measures in force. Yesterday, for the first time in more than a year, there was no positive case of Covid-19 infection in Tirana.
