Given that the situation of Covid-19 in the country seems stable, the question naturally arises: "When will people be able to return to normal?"
Invited last night to "Opinion", the Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu said that the measures will be reviewed during the next two weeks and a relief will be evaluated in terms of time band.
"Albania has not had a total closure this year. We have taken targeted measures not to harm the businesses and the country's economy. The schedule will be re-evaluated in the next two weeks, at the end of May to see how the measures will take place. I believe "We will have good news if we continue like this," said Manastirliu.
Regarding vaccination, the minister said that the more vaccinated the more free the summer season will be.
"So far, more than 6 thousand workers of tailoring have been vaccinated with the first dose and vaccination is continuing at a fast pace everywhere in Albania. Vaccination rates in the country are high, so the intensity of daily vaccinations continues. We will intensify combined vaccination. The +60 age groups and the chronically ill are continuing to be vaccinated everywhere in the health centers and in the vaccination focal points and of course the priority groups, which are in our plan. "As are the employees of tour operators, in order to have as many vaccinated as possible to arrive at a relief obviously during the summer period, always assessing the epidemiological situation."
