This morning, the leader of the Social Democratic Party, Tom Doshi, announced that he has resigned twice: both from the mandate for deputy and from the candidacy in the elections of April 25.
In the letter addressed to the CEC, he writes that the decision is irrevocable and seeks to replace his mandate with another one. A little while ago, during a press release, Tom Doshi clarified the reasons that led him to such a decision.
"This decision was made only because together with a team of young people, dedicated and with integrity. We achieved the goals we had set for ourselves, so our mobilization gave its result, I committed to victory and we achieved the victory.
In parliament or outside parliament Tom Doshi is and will always be with you, because I will continue to be in the leadership of the PSD and will never leave you. "My political and moral obligation to you is a commitment rooted in my family history and in the faith in God that inspires me to serve you and to convey your voice in the political decisions that affect your lives." , emphasizing that it is a decision taken of his own free will.
So far, the party representing the PSD has won 3 seats in the April 25 elections.
