Did you know that the Piña Colada drink originated in San Juan, Puerto Rico and was created by bartender Ramón "Monchito" Marrero at the Caribe Hilton Hotel in 1954? From Spanish, "piña colada" - translates as "stretched pineapple".
Today, learn how to do it quite easily! Here's what you need:
1. Frozen Pineapple: Buy a pineapple, cut it into small pieces and leave it in the freezer.
2. Rum: White is traditional, but any other does not spoil the work.
3. Coconut milk: Do not be lazy, you can find it (in almost every market).
Now, simply put all the ingredients in a blender, until a homogeneous mass is created. If the mixture is too thick, feel free to add a little extra water.
Decorate the glass with a piece of pineapple, a paper umbrella, etc., as you wish. Thats it!
