While the mass vaccination process in the country follows, people still have their own questions. When will the riscus groups get vaccinated? Will those who have passed Covid-19 get vaccinated and if so, when?
Eugena Tomini, Deputy Health Minister, during an interview for ABC Nea spoke of the epidemiological situation and the continuation of the vaccination process.
As for vaccinating those who have passed the virus, she replied:
"The call to apply is made by the family doctor. It is appealed to the population or individuals even though there is a file for which it has history. So it's called on the population or individuals whether they agree to apply these moments or not.
It should be stressed that within 3 months of passing the clinical signs of Covid-19, despite age it is not recommended to carry out the vaccine because the individual naturally has anticorporeal. Meanwhile, in the 3-6 months period it is recommended that according to partial studies natural immunity can stay 6 to 8 months, it certainly becomes recommended to apply the vaccine."
Tommy added that the vaccination programme will follow with age reduction, descending to 65+ with co-accompanying diseases and 60+, with co-accompanying diseases.
