Gwyneth Paltrow, recently invited to Ana Faris podcast, publicly expressed her reflections on divorce: what she learned and gained from the decision to separate from Chris Martin.
The actress claimed that she would never want to be separated from her 11-year-old ex-husband, no matter what happened.
"I never thought I would divorce. I would never want to be married to the father of my children," Paltrowe told Martin.
The couple split in 2014 and officially divorced in 2016. They are the parents of two children, 16-year-old daughter Apple and a 14-year-old son, Moses.
"I learned a lot more than I imagined for myself. It was my 38th birthday and I was in Tuscany, in a very beautiful place. I do not know what exactly happened, but between the glasses of wine and the shackles of "I realized that my marriage had ended." - the actress continues.
According to her, she and Martin did not combine perfectly as a couple, but what united them was the great love for children. The actress, today married to someone else admits that she can have two different types of love which can coexist with each other, adding that she maintains a healthy relationship with Chris.
