The World Health Organization (WHO) has called on Europe to pay more attention to anti-Covid vaccines, criticizing them for the slow pace of the process.
According to the WHO, the growth rate of infections in Europe is worrying and it is "unacceptable" to walk at such vaccination rates.
Hans Kluge, WHO Representative for Europe, said the slowdown was nothing more than a pandemic.
"Vaccines represent our safest way out of this pandemic. However, this slow pace is unacceptable. The process needs to be accelerated by increasing vaccine production, avoiding obstacles and using the last dose in stock." he expresses.
Last week alone there was a worrying increase in new cases in the regions of Europe, with a full 1.6 million positive cases.
