Anyone who knows and follows Chrissy Teigen knows what her favorite social networks are. Chrissy may post endlessly on Intagram, but no one is questioning her Twitter account, where hundreds of posts have made the rounds of the network. That said, why did Chrissy shut down her Twitter account?
The model, who had more than 13.7 million followers, announced she would leave the platform.
“Hey. For over 10 years, you people have been my world. I honestly owe so much to this world we have created here. "I really consider many of you my true friends," she wrote.
"But it's time to say goodbye. It no longer serves me as positively as it does negatively, and I think it's the right time to make that decision."
Teigen has used Twitter for many powerful statements, including the complications of pregnancy and the loss of a child. In addition, Twitter has been the platform where she has "clashed" with important figures, such as Donald Trump.
"My goal in life is to make people happy. The pain I feel when I do not do this is too much for me. I have always been portrayed as a strong girl, but I just am not," she wrote.
