'It was what made me cry before the wedding': What does Kate Middleton think of Meghan's statement?

Kate Middleton is "upset" at Meghan Markle's claim that it was the look that made her cry and not the other way around. 

According to royal expert Katie Nicholl, "it's not clear what exactly happened", but "Kate is horrified that Markle publicly said she made her cry" and she "never wanted any news of the quarrel to come out in the press" ", she says for OK magazine.

"Kate is so discreet and respects her private life. You never hear her say that because she is very careful about how she treats others. So for this story to circulate is a bit difficult. "Kate felt the incident had already been resolved, and his re-emergence, in public, seems excessive."

To make matters worse, Meghan and Harry know that Middleton is "unable to respond" to the claim - which has not been publicly verified by anyone else, the Buckingham Palace expert added.

"From what I hear, there are different versions of the story, not just the one Meghan discussed," Nicholl said.

During the interview with Oprah, Meghan said the news in the press portrayed her as the evil of the story, saying she made Middleton cry, but in fact it was the opposite. 

"It was a really difficult week of the wedding and Kate was upset about something, but she understood and apologized to me. She brought me flowers and a note," Markle added.

In 2018, many tabloids wrote about a flawed relationship between sisters-in-law. There were rumors that Meghan had made Kate cry during conversations about the bride's companion dress, little Princess Charlotte.

The expert adds:

"Kate and William think they were extremely hospitable to Meghan and Harry. Any accusation against the monarchy is an accusation against their family. It has hurt them. However, despite misunderstandings, sources claim the brothers want to resolve any quarrel."
