It is always the same dilemma. If you cut them often you will find it harder to lengthen them, if you cut them less often the burnt tops will get worse. The question is: What is meant by "often" and "rarely"?
It all depends on your hair type!
1. Curly hair
If you want them to grow you do well to cut them every 6 months, if you want to maintain that length and hair style, once every 3 months.
2. Straight or wavy hair
For this type of hair the best you can do is cut them once in 10 weeks or in 3 months. That's enough for the hair to look healthy and grow!
3. Thick hair
This type of hair is more tolerant, which means it does not need to be cut often. Anyway, once in 6 months is needed.
4. Thin hair
You who have thin hair know how fast it can be cut. To prevent it you have to wait for them every 2 months.
5. Damaged hair
These include burnt tops from plates or other harmful styling. You need to wait every 8 weeks for the hair to regenerate and the chances of breakage to be reduced.
