Last night, another 15,210 doses of the Pfizer vaccine arrived in the country, which were received by Prime Minister Rama and Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu. According to the head of state, the goal is for the whole country to be open and tourism free during the summer months.
In addition to the doses received yesterday, Rama said that the receipt of another 30,000 doses in April by Pfizer and the first 14,000 doses from Astra Zeneca through the Covax mechanism has also been confirmed.
"Today we received confirmation from Pfizer, that we will receive another 30 thousand doses for April. I am very confident that very soon we will have very good news on the one hand because we have already confirmed the first 14 thousand doses from Astra Zeneca through Covax, in mid-March and on the other hand we are working with several other sources .
I am confident that we will soon have the possibility of an intensive vaccination throughout the territory, to make this next tourist season a season of drastically declining infections, with which Albania can be fully open to all who want to are coming. ”
