In her last interview with Mariah Carey for "Interview" magazine, Cardi did not hesitate to talk about her insecurities and surgical interventions. She shows that every procedure she has performed has done to increase self-awareness and she has succeeded.
During the interview, Cardi recalls that the boys mocked her because she had no body shape and "was very weak".
"It made me feel underdeveloped and so ugly. The boys also asked me strange questions, such as: Why is your hair like this? ”
When the rapper turned 18, she started dancing in nightclubs and says she "earned enough money for school and everything else that made her feel better about herself."
"I had enough money to do the breasts, so any insecurities I had about my breasts disappeared."
In another moment, Cardi recalls another episode of her hair life:
"When I was younger, I did not know how to take care of my hair. Now I make masks and take care of my natural hair without wanting to change it. I feel good and I realized that there is nothing wrong with my hair. "Moreover, experiencing insecurity is normal because people have a range of educations, cultures and beliefs."
