Apparently, dentists can find out a lot about our sex life just by looking at the mouth.
It all started when Cian McBrien, a TikTok user posted a video claiming that dentists could tell if their patient had oral sex.
Although the video went more or less viral, people doubted it was true and here, the professionals decided to speak for themselves and clarify the mystery once and for all.
In a video, already viewed more than 33 million times, dr. Huzefa Kapadia, a dentist, explains that having oral sex on a man can often result in a condition called "palatal petechiae."
The dentist explains it this way:
"If, say, you are consuming a lollipop, 1-2 times, it is not a big problem. "But if we are talking about lots and lots, lots of sucking, then we have a problem."
The dentist then shows a red area inside the mouth:
"As you can see, that's where the bruising and irritation of the soft palate comes in."
After posting the video, dr. Kapadia says he has received many messages from teenagers worried that parents will reveal this information to them, through dentists.
"Your secret is safe with us. "We will not say anything unless we suspect abuse of any kind."
