The Covid-19 pandemic has created an opportunity to change the game for higher distance work opportunities as we are all accustomed to working "out of the office".
According to a recent study by the European Commission, the highest paid jobs of remote workers are among professionals and managers with knowledge and intensive information and communication technology (ICT) services. Some of the people in this industry have worked remotely before the pandemic. When working at a distance with high profits are:
1. New Engineers (Cloud Engineer) - are responsible for managing systems and processes based on "cloud computing" of a company; distribution of services, storage spaces, databases, software, etc., through the Internet.
2. Network Architects - are responsible for designing computer networks including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), Internet connections and other data communication systems.
3. Network Developers - are responsible for creating software programs and have the technical ability to build programs or oversee their creation.
4. Sales and Marketing Directors - are responsible for managing the sales team, planning and promoting new products and services.
5. Information Security Managers - are responsible for protecting a company's computers, networks and data from computer viruses, security breaches and malicious hacker attacks.
6. Data Scientists - are responsible for using trends and managing data and discovering solutions to a business's challenges. They have knowledge in technology as well as in social sciences.
