Despite the fact that vaccination against Covid-19 has started in a good part of the world, Europe has again taken new restrictive measures. The UK, also endangered by the South African mutation, is expanding testing, especially when there have been cases of unjustifiable travel.
People over the age of 16 in 8 regions around England have been asked to stay home and get tested whether they have symptoms or not.
On the other hand, the EU has also strengthened the measures. The new guidelines state that only those coming from countries with a low number of coronavirus cases will be allowed to enter Europe.
Germany meanwhile still has the mandatory mask and requires a negative PCR test to allow movements. Portugal is also facing a high number of infected has restricted land crossings on the border with its neighbor Spain.
In France, borders are only open to European countries, but it is mandatory to present with a negative PCR test to cross the border.
