The universe is so big and there are some "worlds" with potential for life. Then where the hell are they all?
In case you forgot, in the beginning of 2020, after 16 years of secrecy, the Pentagon has published images of UFOs which have made many ask, for the hundredth time: Are we really alone in the universe, or are aliens already between us?
For years, these questions have plagued scientists, science-fiction enthusiasts, and conspiracy theorists.
At its heart, this is what is called the "Fermi Paradox": The scientific anomaly that shows that despite having billions of stars in and out of the galaxy, we have never encountered any sign of a concrete, advanced alien civilization.
Although many explanations have been given as to why we did not meet the alien, none have been fully convincing or universally accepted.
In short, in a world where we are obsessed with discovering every little thing, this is a big question, the answer to which we do not know for sure.
However, 2 years ago, Russian physicist Alexander Berezin, from the National University of Electronic Technology Research (MIET), had a theory.
He suggested that once a civilization achieves the ability to spread across the stars, it will inevitably wipe out all other civilizations.
Fix what we needed to hear ...
The theory does not hypothesize a necessarily bad alien race that would consciously wipe out other life forms, but the idea is so they can "not notice us" and their exponential expansion across galaxies be more important to ta, sesa ne.
So is Berez suggesting that we are "ants", and the reason we have not encountered the alien is simply because these life forms did not intend to destroy us?
Jo. Since we are probably not the ants, but the "future destroyers of the worlds" we have been looking for all this time.
Assuming the above hypothesis is correct, what does it mean for our future?
